Certified Safety Manager (CSM)
This course will examine the scope and role of the Occupational Health and Safety Manager and the fundamental components of comprehensive programs and more importantly, the interplay between these considerations and how important a Safety Manager Professional is in their success.
Topics covered include: OSHA requirements, ANSI requirements, professional incident investigation, loss prevention, management of safety & workers’ compensation, emergency response & preparedness, and developing a culture of safety, and 40 other topics.
There will be focus on the fundamental components of a comprehensive health and safety programs to protect the employees in your organization and avoid costly liability.
The goal of the class is to enhance the students’ knowledge regarding critical health and safety‐related issues.
The Certified Safety Manager Certification is a comprehensive class to certify potential students, potential employers. It will make sure you have the credentials and knowledge to assist regulatory agencies, and the courts that you have the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to a level of proficiency expected of a professional who is capable of working with little or no supervision while managing the safety programs, policies, and procedures common to business, industry and in construction.
Creating the right safety culture will always be difficult. This course will give you that leading edge technology and knowledge to implement proper safety training and an effective knowledge of all safety programs in the industry. Students will learn OSHA regulations and learn how to avoid civil and criminal liability, increase worker’s morale, reduce workers comp rates and eliminate injuries in the industry.

This course is offered online or onsite.
325 hrs – 40 class certificates and one Program Completion certificate (Certified Safety Manager)
You must have an accumulated 2 years of safety related field experience or working towards a qualified safety degree. You must also pre-qualify with the M&A Safety Services application process with our online form.
You must score 90% to receive certification. You have two opportunities to pass each exam.
An annual refresher course is required every year. The cost of this recertification is $140.00 and 40 hrs online classroom study.
M&A Safety Services training conforms to OSHA CBT Training standards and ANSI Z490.1-2009. Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health and Environmental Training. M&A Safety Service follows all ANSI training criteria’s.
